Our trip to the Outer Banks this summer was one of the best. There are so many beaches to choose from here on the East Coast but we love the Outer Banks. Life is a little less crazy in this area and less crowded. Just our style. We stayed out each and every day, all day, and had a great time. Sunshine and Glory were busy the entire time either running from the waves, collecting sea shells, splashing, taking an occasional very daring float on the boogie board, and building an amazing sand castle. (well, the sand castle was mostly the handiwork of Daddy and that's what kept him busy on our last day there). But the girls helped........some. And while all of that was going on, I did my own share of wave jumping, relaxing in the ocean, reading, and mainly taking in all the beauty that was surrounding us. There is nothing quite like the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the shore, then quickly rushing back into the sea only to begin all over again. Looking out into the sea that never ends, we were even able to see dolphins enjoying their day as well. And once again, the finger prints of God are always amazing me.
