What We Look Forward To

It won't be too much longer before we're living in Virginia, beginning another chapter in our unpredictable lives. These are some of the sights we can look forward to as we start this new adventure and get to know the city.

Very exciting on our list is our new home. We all fell in love with it as soon as we walked in, and we're thankful that God is blessing us with it. We look forward to many years in this place.

Then there are the Arabian horses, very sweet loving creatures that we hope to spend more time with. Their owners are new friends who have welcomed us and made us feel right at home.

We can also take advantage of the James River, running right through the city. What an awesome view with an amazing history. A history that we plan to learn more about as time goes on.

Once again we will find ourselves living in the Capitol City. I'm sure Sunshine and Glory will have some great field trips in this place. We'll learn more about our country than we ever knew.

Finally, the courthouse, where Daddy spends his days, is one of the oldest buildings in the city. This and the Capitol are the only two buildings that were left standing when the city was burned down during the Civil War. ( see.......I'm already picking up on the historical stuff)

It will be a few more months before the girls and I are actually there, but soon, our lives will be back to normal. ( or somewhat normal)
