Summer's Flying

The summer, for us, has flown by. The girls are back in school, and I have a new job at their school which I am loving. It's a great thing to be able to go with my girls to school, and come home with them as well. Plus, I can peek in on Glory any time I want to since she is only few doors down from the office I work in. I am so blessed to have this job fall into my lap.

Last weekend Sunshine and I were able to go with friends to the beach for a quick weekend trip. It was a great weekend with lots of sun, sand, and crashing waves. Sunshine had a great time and made the most of every minute because she finally realized how much fun a boogie board can be. After all these years, she finally realized how much fun it is to wait for those big waves to come crashing in and knows how to ride them all the way up to the shore on her belly. Good for you, Sunshine. The beach just became ten times more fun!

Since Glory stayed home with Daddy while we were on this beach trip, (don't worry, they had plenty of their own fun roller skating, going to the movies, etc.), I told Glory we could go skating again this weekend. She held me to it and skate we did. Glory loves to skate, and today was one of her best. She's even learning a few new moves. She would go to the roller rink all the time if she could.

So while our summer was fast, we are still hoping to sneak in another beach event maybe just for the day. ( or more)
