Sunshine and I had the opportunity to visit a good friend in the "Bay Area" which I quickly learned is the proper term for the San Francisco area. Our friends live outside "the city" (another term for S.F ) and let me tell you, it is beautiful!
There are hills and mountains on the left, and the beautiful, cold, pacific ocean on the right. Just gorgeous.
We were able to visit many hot spots in "the city" including Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, The Golden Gate Bridge, a tour of Alcatraz ( how amazing was that?!) Chinatown, the craziest street ever.... Lombard Street, and we went on a bay area cruise to enjoy the sights from the ocean.
It was a terrific time!
We are thankful for our friends, who we were able to spend some precious time with, and to God, for once again creating an amazing landscape, and friends to enjoy it with.
