A few weeks ago Sunshine and her Dad had the opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, VA for a 5th grade field trip. This was an overnight 2 day trip where the kids would be able to tour Colonial Williamsburg, and see how life was in the "old country". It was a great time to be together, Sunshine and her Dad, and get a chance to be with all of her friends, and meet a few more parents.
It was a wonderful time, except for the roommate who snored so loud they contemplated smothering at 2:00 in the morning, and a few jitters inside of Sunshine. I was happy to be home with Glory during this trip knowing that they were making some fond memories that can be shared in the years to come.
I asked Sunshine what her favorite part about the trip was. And her answer?? "The bus ride!" Next time we'll just cruise around on a bus for a few hours! But I guess we'd have to bring 23 classmates with us to make it fun.
