Slow Down!

I was thinking that I hadn't posted anything lately, and then right in front of me sat little Glory, 7 yrs. old and in 2nd grade.  She was full of blog material.  She's been coming home lately from school using all sorts of big words  (big words, not bad words)   that I had not heard her use before.  She's talking about condensation, accumulation, and  evaporation.  And telling me all about it.  She tells me about experiments that we can do at home, and how they did these experiments in school.   Oh, and I forgot about precipitation.  The other day she said she wanted me to respond to her.

She's been changing lately, and not always the easy going agreeable self that she once was.  She has some definite ideas about her curly locks and how she wants them arranged. Before, I could do whatever I wanted to with her hair. These days,  she can usually fix her own hair,  even put it in a high pony tail.  But I won't let her straighten those curls.

Slow down, little girl!!  It's not time to start growing up yet!
