We are finally settled in our new Virginia home and getting to know our town, our neighbors, and all that surrounds us. It's been a good move, pretty uneventful, and easy, ( most of the time. I won't lie, there were some stressful times, but that's to be expected) thankfully. It's funny because even though we are a few hours from our previous home of 20 years, this is quickly growing on us and beginning to feel like home as well. Maybe it's all in how we look at things. We're here, we're together, we have a home, a job, friends, family who are welcome to visit at any time (although it would be nice to have them closer), but what else is there? So we look forward to new memories, and new events, and new things to see.
The summer has been busy with the move, a trip to Ohio, and a trip to Texas. ( I'll post pictures and add more about that in a later post.) It's good to be here!
